Auckland-based OneClick is helping commercial real estate colossus Colliers International in its ANZ operations, with an innovative listing system that the agency built and maintains using the Sitecore® Experience Platform™ (Sitecore XP) on Rackspace.
Founded in 2006, the agency provides tools to help customers optimise existing applications and software, or integrate with existing solutions, through the cloud.
When the company’s largest-ever project was looking for the right hosting partner, the OneClick team immediately looked to Rackspace. The project for commercial property site Colliers ANZ involved an RFP process, which confirmed that Rackspace would provide the right solution for the job.
“The Rackspace proposal was superior to any other we received,” said Jason Platt, CEO of online developer company OneClick.
“We had already been working with Rackspace for three years and the team was very transparent throughout the process. We had a short turnaround for this project, and they delivered a detailed offering in a very limited time frame.”
The www.colliers.com.au and www. colliers.co.nz sites are built on the Sitecore Experience Platform, which allows flexibility, scalability and integration with existing business tools such as SharePoint.
Rackspace is enabling OneClick to easily integrate with Sitecore, providing infrastructure and support. The Sitecore solution combines an automated, flexible and predictive customer management system (CMS) with more personalisation and engagement functionality providing customers with a better online experience.
The advantage of Sitecore is personalisation, which gives users control over how they are being tracked, and increases ease of “just in time” content, the use of online feedback, and clickpaths. In essence, the Sitecore solution enables organisations to engage with online customers and provide more relevant, tailored messaging in a timely manner.
OneClick was able to develop a robust and more sophisticated listings solution for Colliers. Specifically, the website integrates with Colliers International’s global SharePoint database called Our People. OneClick also developed a proprietary property-listing tool which integrates with Sitecore’s CMS.

Colliers ANZ now delivers several unique features that push Colliers into the online marketing and technology forefront. These benefits include improved map functionality, highly customised user site search with embedded Google Site Search and predictive text. Other features include dynamic property and news feeds, subscription through email and Property Portfolio functionality for marketing purposes. Colliers ANZ are now no longer dependent on third-party property listing tools and have full control over the display and marketing of their clients’ properties.
OneClick is now working on the residential component of the Colliers project. “The residential element is expected to double the number of listings on the website, so in itself it’s another significant project for OneClick.” said Platt. “Other businesses too are coming on board with what’s happening, so it doesn’t stop here.”
OneClick is currently expanding its own organisation now, steadily increasing the permanent team which has almost doubled over the past year to keep pace with expanding client work.
